Additionally, PMC recently installed two GE Healthcare Inova 3100 cardiovascular suites and is adding a third. The Logiq E9 ultrasound system by GE Healthcare, as well as the Mac Lab Hemodynamic monitoring system and IVUS vessel navigation software, can currently be found in the cath lab. The hospital’s Chest Pain Center was the first in Kentucky and oneof the first 10 in the nation to achieve level III accreditation, a distinction that validates PMC’s dedication to higher standards and exceptional cardiac care.
Great advances have also been made in orthopedic surgery and rehabilitation services. PMC recently introduced anterior hip replacement surgery and is the first hospital in the area to offer OtisKnee, a custom-fit approach to total knee replacement. An inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital is located within PMC while an outpatient rehabilitation center is conveniently located in a separate facility on the hospital’s main campus.
