PIKEVILLE — Area youngsters will have the opportunity to learn basketball the University of Pikeville way during summer camps.

The first session will be held June 11-13 and the second June 14-15 for those ages 5-14.

Coach Kelly Wells will give campers the opportunity to be exposed to the essential skills needed for their development as players as well as ways to improve those skills.

“Our camp will be demanding, we try to combine hard work and learning with a lot of fun,” Wells said.

Through stations, half-court games, lectures and competition, campers will find UPIKE’s way the “best for their development.”

Tuition is $75 per camper and includes camp T-shirt, certificate of participation, UPIKE camp basketball, great instruction and many awards and give-aways.

A $50 non-refundable desposit must accompany your application. The remaining balance will be due at registration.

Discounts for groups and multi-family members will be offered.
