Terry Flannery, 41, of Prestonsburg, died May 14 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. He was a disabled coal miner.

He was born April 14, 1971, in Floyd County, the son of Joyce Ann Bradford Poe and John Poe of David.

Other survivors include his wife, Debbie Cate Flannery; sons Ryan Tyler Flannery and Chase Matthew Flannery, both of the home; brothers Michael Poe and Jamie Poe, both of David; his twin sister Sherry (Jeff) Helton of Royalton; and many other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held May 18 at noon at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home in Martin with Bobby Joe Spencer officiating. He will be buried in Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel

John Harold Rowe, 84, of Phyllis, widower of Stella Hampton Rowe, died May 10. Survivors: sons Jimmy L. (Rhonda) Rowe of Pikeville, Harold D. (ReJeana) Rowe, Larry K. Charles Slone, 82, of Virgie, died May 11. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. His first wife, Opal Kidd Slone, preceded him in death.
