Residency Program Philosophy
The Post Graduate Training Program at Pikeville Medical Center is based on the following concepts:
- Effective osteopathic physicians have a mastery of skills and knowledge, which enable them to take care of the vast majority of problems in their patient population. They are efficient problem definers and prioritizors, diagnosticians, and managers serving the interest of the individual and the family.
